Indian Summer and Dog´s Weather

Autumn is one of 4 seasons and it starts on 23rd September. I think that Autumn is one of the favourite seasons.

The students have 2 days autumn holiday. That is 25th October and 26th October. Temperatures aren´t high nor too low. They are about 10-15°C. During September we can still enjoy the sunny and warm weather. We can wear only a T-shirt and jeans and a sweatshirt later.

When the autumn sun shines we call it Indian Summer. In these days children are playing outside and they can venturing paper kites. We can ride a bike, work in the garden, we can make campfires (roast sausages, sitting by the fire) and we can pick mushrooms in the forest.

In October the weather is colder. Mornings are cold so we can see the fog, evenings are cold but during the day the weather is still sunny.

With the procedure of days the weather is colder more and more and leaves are falling from the trees, it often rains and it´s windy. When the weather isn´t rainy we can rake leaves. Birds are flying to the warmer regions. When it is a miserable weather people are often sick. We call this weather dog´s weather.

Colors in autumn are really nice – they include brown, yellow, red, green and orange. It´s nice to go out and walk among the leaves with these colors.

After autumn comes winter on 21 December but in reality it´s much earlier. I like the autumn if the weather is nice.

Nach einer sehr langen und gar nicht einfachen Arbeit ist er eindlich da.

Am Mittwoch, den 16 Mai fliege ich mit Enza nach Muenchen und fahren dann nach Neumarkt, wo wir den Reiseführer in der Maximilian Kolbe Schule vorstellen werden. Der Reiseführer besteht aus 170 Seiten in vier Sprachen, italienisch, deutsch, tschechisch und englisch, mit vielen Fotos und auch einigen typischen Rezepten.

Am 1 Juni wird er dann auch in Cefalù vorgestellt.

Hier für euch ein Blick auf den Frontdeckel.

Wettbewerb der Krankenpfleger

In unserer Schule fand am 25. 4. 2012 der Schulwettbewerb der Krankenpfleger statt. An diesem Wettbewerb nahmen Schüler der ersten, zweiten und dritten Jahrgänge teil. Die Schüler hatten zwei Aufgaben:

 -ein Bett mit einem Patienten in einem Zeitlimit zu machen 
 -Desinfektion nach einem selbst erechneten Beispiel vorzuberieten
Alle Teilnehmer hatten gute Laune. Der Sieg der Schüler des ersten Jahrgangs war unerwartet. Am Ende bekamen die Sieger kleine Geschenke und etwas Süßes. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Wettbewerb.

Dne 25. 4. 2012 se na naší Střední pedagogické a Střední zdravotnické škole uskutečnila soutěž ošetřovatelů. Zúčastnily se jí první, druhé a třetí ročníky. Soutěž spočívala v úpravě lůžek a ředění dezinfekce.  Lůžko muselo být pečlivě ustláno v určitém limitu a dezinfekce musela  být naředěna přesně podle zadání, které jsme si museli sami vypočítat.  Všichni byli dobře naladěni. Vítězství prvních ročníků bylo nečekané. Na konci celé soutěže byli výherci odměněni  malými dárky a sladkou  odměnou. S úsměvem se těšíme na další ročník. 

Excursion - Hospice in Svatý Kopeček near Olomouc

We went on an excursion to Svatý Kopeček on 23 April 2012 to visit the hospice there.
There are patients who are in a terminal (final) stage of life. We liked  the hospice because it did not resemble a hospital. There were spacious terraces and a nice environment. For clients there are 30 beds in 24 accommodation units, 18 single rooms, 6 double rooms, each unit consists of a hall, a room with a bed and hygiene unit (shower, sink, toilet). The rooms have a TV and a refrigerator. Hospice care in the Czech republic is highly developed and its founder is Marie Svatošová. The basic idea of ​​hospice care is to ensure that a person will not suffer from pain, human dignity will be respected and at the end of his/her life the person is not is left alone.

V rámci exkurze jsme jeli 23. 4. 2012 na Svatý Kopeček u Olomouce, abychom navštívili hospic.

Zde jsou pacienti, kteří jsou v terminálním (konečném) stádiu života. V hospici se nám líbilo, protože nám nepřipomínal nemocniční zařízení. Byly zde prostorné terasy a pěkné okolní prostředí. Pro klienty je připraveno 30 lůžek ve 24 ubytovacích jednotkách, 18 jednolůžkových, 6 dvoulůžkových, z nichž každá jednotka se skládá z předsíně, pokoje s lůžkem a hygienické buňky (sprchový kout, umyvadlo, WC). Na pokojích je TV a lednička. Hospicová péče je v ČR je vysoce rozvinuta a za zakladatelku se považuje Marie Svatošová. Základní myšlenkou hospicové péče je zaručení, že člověk nebude trpět bolestí, bude respektována jeho lidská důstojnost a že na konci svého života nezůstane sám.

  Hallo Liebe Partner!Am 28 April 2012 hat in unserer Schule ein sehr interessantes Wettbewerb im Bereich Hotelempfang stattgefunden : CONCORSO RICEVIMENTOEinige Fotos und Zeitungsartikel aus http://www.laltracefalu.it/ und am 21 April 2012 ein Cocktail Wettbeweb "GARA DI COCKTAIL" - MEMORIAL GIORGIO GLORIOSOZeitungsartikel aus http://www.cefalunews.net/         
Si è svolta presso i locali dell’Istituto alberghiero di Cefalù la quinta edizione del concorso interno riservato agli alunni della classe terza del settore ricevimento.
Gli alunni hanno svolto delle simulazioni riguardanti le operazioni di prenotazione, arrivo, assistenza, partenza e contabilità di clienti, negoziando , con un appropriato registro linguistico, in lingua straniera (inglese, francese, tedesco) tutte le operazioni di Front office e Back office.
Ospiti della manifestazione, nel ruolo di giuria, illustri professionisti del settore turistico-alberghiero del comprensorio di cefalù,
Il Dirigente scolastico, prof.ssa Maria Bellavia, alla fine del concorso ha consegnato un attestato di partecipazione a tutti gli alunni e ai componenti della giuria, e premiato le migliori performance degli alunni che sono state:
1° posto ruolo clienti l’alunna Abbate Enrica
2° posto ruolo clienti l’alunna Cappadonia Ivana
1° posto ruolo receptionist l’alunna Svistelnik Polina
2° posto ruolo receptionist l’alunna Mogavero Chiara
Premio speciale “etica professionale” è stato attribuito all’alunna Corso Natalia






Ha curato la l’organizzazione e la realizzazione del progetto e delle operazione tecnico-professionali il prof. Antonio Corradino, la prof.ssa Marinaro Giuseppina ha curato i dialoghi in lingua francese, la prof.ssa Giuliana Maria ha curato i dialoghi in lingua tedesca, la prof.ssa Luppino Concetta ha curato i dialoghi in lingua inglese, preziosa è stata la collaborazione dell’assistente tecnico del laboratorio di ricevimento Sig. Paviera Vincenzo.

Alberghiero, concorso Cocktail

24/03/2012Il concorso, giunto ormai alla VI edizione, si è svolto presso l’Istituto Alberghiero di Cefalù e prevede la partecipazione degli alunni di sala-bar delle classi terze. La gara si propone di promuovere negli allievi il desiderio di migliorare, attraverso un sano spirito di competizione e di confronto delle proprie capacità professionali con quelle dei compagni anche di altre scuole del territorio, le proprie competenze riguardanti le norme etiche e di comportamento, il modo corretto di porsi nei confronti della clientela, le tecniche professionali classiche ed all'avanguardia del bar.
Il concorso nasce per ricordare il professore di Sala-Bar Giorgio.Glorioso, e proporlo agli alunni, come modello di serietà, dedizione e professionalità cui ispirarsi nel prosieguo della propria carriera professionale.
Gli allievi hanno presentato una ricetta sorteggiata tra i classici I.B.A.(Associazione Internazionale Barman) previsti nella programmazione didattica educativa e nell’ambito delle attività di lotta all’abuso dell’alcol un cocktail analcolico di fantasia al fine di sensibilizzare gli allievi ad una riduzione del consumo di bevande alcoliche.
Sponsor ufficiale della manifestazione è stato il Consorzio dell’Arancia bionda di Ribera DOP e per promuovere la conoscenza e l’uso di questo eccezionale prodotto come ingrediente nelle ricette cocktail di fantasia è stato assegnato un bonus di un punto nella griglia di valutazione dei concorrenti.
Gli allievi concorrenti, in divisa, davanti alla giuria ed a un pubblico attento, hanno preparato due porzioni per ognuno dei cocktail in un tempo massimo di 5 minuti per i pre-dinner e gli after-dinner e di 10 minuti per i long-drink.
La giuria tecnica e la giuria di degustazione ha valutato non solo l’aspetto, il gusto e l’aroma dei cocktail ma anche l’aspetto e la presentazione del concorrente, l’uso delle attrezzature, il dosaggio degli ingredienti, la tecnica ed il tempo di esecuzione.
Al termine delle prove la premiazione del vincitore assoluto Fabiano Lavanco con”Hearth flower” premiato con la coppa” Memorial G. Glorioso” dalla madre del prof. Giorgio Glorioso, della seconda classificata Rossella Guadagna con “Profondo rosso” e della terza classificata Francesca Perez con Sweet harmony premiati con una targa. A tutti i concorrenti sono stati consegnati gli attestati di partecipazione ed una medaglia ricordo. Alla concorrente Ylenia Alioto della scuola alberghiera “P. Borsellino” di Palermo è andata la coppa degli esterni, consegnata dal Dirigente Scolastico M. Bellavia. La Manifestazione si è conclusa con un pranzo preparato dagli stessi allievi della scuola nella sala ristorante dell’istituto con piatti gustosi e raffinati che prevedevano tra gli ingredienti l’Arancia bionda di Ribera DOP.

Aus Odry aktuell - das 19. kulturelle Festival in Odry

Vom 20. bis 23. März 2012 veranstaltet unsere Schule das 19. kulturelle Festival der Kunstaktivitäten. Am Festival nehmen Schüler der kirchlichen Schulen aus der ganzen Tschechischen Republik teil. Zum ersten Mal erwarten wir Gäste aus der Slovakei. Am Programm stehen musikalische, theatralische Vorstellungen, Rezitation, Tanz. Photoausstellungen und Konzerte sind das Begleitprogramm des Festivals.
Wir laden Sie herzlich auf das 20. Festival nächstes Jahr vom 19. 3. - 12. 3. 2013 ein.

Weird spring time

And days are longer. Every morning I feel it in the air, this fresh wind of a new chance. Few cute days with the sun and green, but the atmosphere of beautiful days is destroyed by rain. Just two days to warm us up and then smack us down to knees. The spring is very strict and unmerciful. It hates us for our luck and happiness. Birds come back and start to sing, and they don’t have mercy with lonely people. Listen to their songs and cry for your unhappy life, you are an interesting person for spring. Another miracle of nature comes to life and everything starts to enjoy their hearts, but why don’t you? You are just sitting between all your “friends”, all days in the same room. Why don’t you enjoy the new life? All those hours, all times, all pieces of your small life, in the same way? Take an inspiration from nature, it needs change.

Der Abibal im Kulturhaus in Odry

Für Schüler unserer Schule findet sich jedes Jahr der Abiball statt. Der Ball ist vor allem für Schüler aus dem vierten und dritten Jahrgang. Ich bin im vierten Schuljahr und alle Schüler aus diesem Jahrgang müssen im Abiball sein. Aber für uns alle ist es eine angenehme Pflicht. Auf diesem Ball bekamen wir eine Schärpe mit der Aufschrift Absolvent 2012. Eine Band spielte zum Tanzen, wir plauderten zusammen, tranken und dann kam die Tombola dran. Der Ball war eine gute Möglichkeit außen der Schule zusammen, auch mit Lehrern, zu sein. Dieser Abiball war ein tolles Erlebnis.

On the 20th January there was a school ball. The ball is held every year for students who are in their final year of study, however, every student can go there. Some students helped in the cloak room. Some students sold tickets for the raffle. Two girls from class PL3 presented the evening program. Every woman looked like a princess. In this ball there were three people from a barman school and they prepared very good alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. In this ball played a music band from Odry. The singers from this band were very good. The whole evening was very nice and funny.

From our life: Ski course

8.-13. 1. 2012 all first-year pupils went on a ski course to Malá Morávka in the Jeseníky mountains for a week. The bus journey was long and tiring. When we arrived, we were accommodated in a newly renovated ski chalet. After unpacking the food and clothes, we went straight to a small slope, where teachers divided us into five groups.The first group was the best and the fifth was the worst. A lot of people were afraid because they never stood on skis, but they managed that. The following morning at 7:15 there was a warm-up exercise, breakfast and then we went skiing. Wednesday was a day of rest. The first group went to Praděd mountain, the second group went cross-country skiing to Praděd and the third group went to an aquapark. The whole ski course passed quickly. Everybody became a skier. Every evening at 5 pm there were some lectures about skiing and each group had an evening entertainment program. The food was really delicious all week. We brought home a lot of wonderful experiences and memories that we will remember for a long time

Schüler aus Odry führten das Theaterstück Krieg der Mädchen auf

Im Jahre 2009 entstand die Idee unseres Lehrers David Cindler, Krieg der Mädchen von Regisseur František Ringo Čech einzuüben. Die Schüler des pädagogischen Lyzeum gefiel diese Idee und so begannen sie das Stück einzuüben. Krieg der Mädchen wurde im Jahre 2011 in der Schule für Eltern und Schüler und 2012 im Kulturhaus für weitere Publikum gespielt.
Worüber ist der Krieg der Mädchen? Es ist über Beziehungen zwischen Frauen und Männer im 9. Jahrhundert. Männer verlangen ihre Rechte, aber Frauen wollen nicht erobert werden. Im Theaterstück spielen sich viele komische Situationen ab, die man nicht vergessen kann.

Die heiligen drei Könige in Odry gefeiert

Dieses Fest feiern wir am 6. Januar. Drei Könige waren bei Geburt Christi und wir erinnern uns daran. In vielen Städten kleiden sich Leute als drei Könige um, sie gegen von Haus zu Haus, wünchen ein frohes Jahr und bitten um Spende. Namen der Könige sind: Kaspar, Melchior und Balthasar. Sie brachten Jesu Gold, Weihraucht und Myrrhe. Dieses feierten wir dieses Jahr in unserer Schule und auch in der Stadt.

Tento svátek slavíme 6. ledna. Tři králové byli u narozeného Ježíška a my si to připomínáme. V mnoha městech se lidé oblékají jako tři králové, chodí od domu k domu, přejí šťastný nový rok a prosí o dary. Jména tří králů jsou: Kašpar, Melichar a Baltazar. Přinesli Ježíši zlato, kadidlo a myrhu. Tento svátek jsme slavili ve škole i ve městě. Autor: Michaela Ondruchová
